The Bid Acceptance Committee appointed by the Board of Trustees of Northeast Mississippi Community College, Booneville, Mississippi, will receive bids until 10:00 AM, Friday, April 17, 2025, at which time they will be opened in the Board Room of Ramsey Student Services Building (Room 201) and read publicly for the following:

YARBER HALL PARKING LOT & DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS

• Sealed Bids will be received until 10:00 AM, April 17, 2025. Bids should be addressed and either mailed to:

o Board of Trustees, Attention: Bid Acceptance Committee, Northeast Mississippi Community College, 101 Cunningham Blvd, Booneville, MS 38829 or delivered to:

o The Office of the President or the Director of Purchasing, Ramsey Hall, at that address.

• Electronic Bids will be received until 10:00 AM, April 17, 2025, via electronic online bid submission through www.cceplanroom.com.

• Official bid documents can be obtained as follows:

o Paper copies may be purchased online from www.cceplanroom.com. Paper copies of Contract Bid Documents, including Plans and Specifications, are issued to potential Bidders from Plan House Printing and Graphics, 607 West Main Street, Tupelo, MS 38804.

o Contract bid documents may also be purchased for electronic download from Plan House Printing and Graphics. The price paid to obtain either paper/electronic copies is nonrefundable. Registering for a free account at www.cceplanroom.com will enable bidders to order and purchase Contract Bid Documents. A valid e-mail address is required for account registration. Questions regarding website registration, online orders and/or electronic bidding shall be directed to Plan House Printing at 662-407-0193.

• A Pre-Bid Conference to discuss the plans, specifications and contract requirements will be held at 9:00 AM, the 3rd day of April, 2025 at Cook Coggin Engineers, Inc., 200 Hotel Street, Booneville, MS 38829. The Pre-Bid Conference is not mandatory, but contractors and suppliers are encouraged to attend.

• Bids will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom Contract documents have been issued by Plan House Printing, on behalf of the Engineer, and whose name appears on the official list of Plan holders maintained by the Engineer on behalf of Northeast Mississippi Community College.

• Each bidder must deposit with this bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. For Bidders submitting bids electronically, the bond submitted must be either a bond issued by the Surety in electronic format or the original hard copy of the bid bond must be submitted to the Board of Trustees of Northeast Mississippi Community College, Attention: Bid Acceptance Committee, Northeast Mississippi Community College, 101 Cunningham Blvd, Booneville, MS 38829, prior to bid opening in order for the bid to be valid.

• Winning bidder will be notified by either phone or e-mail. Non-winning bidders will not be contacted.

• The bidder shall obey all Federal, State, County, or City laws and ordinances in any way pertaining to the work and shall obtain all permits that may be necessary for its performance if required.

o That in the hiring of employees for the performance of such contract, nor any person acting on behalf of such bidder or shall by reason of race, creed, or color discriminate against any citizen of the United States who is qualified and able to perform the work.

o Nor shall they in any manner discriminate against or intimidate any employees hired for the performance of the work on account of race, creed, or color.

• The bidder shall be responsible for and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless NEMCC from all losses, damages, expenses, claims, demands, suits and actions brought by any party against NEMCC as a result of the Bidder’s failure to comply with the provisions above.
