Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the TOWN OF HATLEY located at 60279 Hatley Road, Amory, MS 38821, until TUESDAY, JANUARY 7TH, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Electronic bids will be received until the designated date and time via electronic online bid submission through www.cceplanroom.com.

The Project includes the following Work:

Construct a steel multi-column elevated water storage tank (100,000, 125,000 or 150,000-gallon bid alternates) and foundations as described in the specifications and shown on the drawings, including, but not limited to geotechnical investigation, elevated tank and foundations, site work, yard piping, fencing, access drive, electrical and controls, and any additional miscellaneous appurtenant items of work.

Bids are requested for the following Contract: CONTRACT C – WATER STORAGE IMPROVEMENTS Owner anticipates that the Project’s total bid price will be approximately $975,000.00. The Project has an expected duration of 360 days.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents

Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website: www.cceplanroom.com Registering for a free account at www.cceplanroom.com will enable bidders to view and/or order Contract Documents online and/or complete the electronic bidding process. The only requirement for account registration is a valid email address. Questions regarding website registration and online orders shall be directed to Plan House Printing (Issuing Office) at (662) 407-0193. Contract Documents are issued to potential Bidders from Plan House Printing and Graphics, 607 West Main Street, Tupelo, MS 38804. Bidders may opt to purchase Contract Documents online at www.cceplanroom.com. All payments for Bid Documents are non-refundable and shall be made payable to Plan House Printing and Graphics, 607 West Main Street, Tupelo, MS 38804. Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.

Each bidder must deposit with this bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. For Bidders submitting bids electronically, the bond submitted must be either a bond issued by the Surety in electronic format or the original hard copy of the bid bond must be submitted to the HATLEY TOWN HALL, 60279 HATLEY ROAD, AMORY, MS 38821 (OWNER) prior to bid opening in order for the bid to be valid.

Prospective Bidders may obtain the bid documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents or electronic documents via email will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method chosen.

Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs.

This project is being supported in whole or in part by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), federal award number 289-2-DW-51.5 awarded to Town of Hatley, Mississippi by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.”

This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), Pub. L. 117-58, §§ 70901-70953. Absent an approved waiver, all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project must be produced in the United States.
