Separate sealed bids for construction of a HOUSTON MUNICIPAL AIRPORT RUNWAY

OVERLAY REHAB for the CITY OF HOUSTON, AIP PROJECT NO. 3-28-0034-023-2023,

will be received by the CITY OF HOUSTON, located, at 120 EAST MADISON STREET,

HOUSTON, MS 38851 until 10:00 A.M., FRIDAY, MAY 5, 2023 at which time and place

they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The contract is as follows:

HOUSTON MUNICIPAL AIRPORT RUNWAY OVERLAY REHAB,

AIP PROJECT NO. 3-28-0034-023-2023,

The project consists of 1,400 linear feet of runway improvements. The improvements

include undercutting 28” of the runway, backfilling with borrow material, soil cement the

top 12” of borrow material, placing 4” of Hot Mix Asphalt, and all runway and taxiway

markings.

The following Federal Provisions are referenced and will be incorporated within the

contract.

• Government – Wide Debarment & Suspension – 2 CFR Part 180

Bidders must qualify under Mississippi Law and have a Certificate of Responsibility.

Registering for a free account at www.cceplanroom.com will enable bidders to view and/or

order Contract Documents online. The only requirement for account registration is a valid

email address. Questions regarding website registration and online orders shall be directed

to Plan House Printing at (662) 407-0193.

Contract Documents are issued to potential Bidders from Plan House Printing and Graphics,

607 West Main Street, Tupelo, MS 38804. Bidders may opt to purchase Contract

Documents online at www.cceplanroom.com. All payments for Bid Documents, are nonrefundable

and shall be made payable to Plan House Printing and Graphics, 607 West Main

Street, Tupelo, MS 38804.

Bids will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom contract documents

have been issued by Plan House Printing, on behalf of the Engineer, and whose name

appears on the official list of Planholders maintained by Plan House Printing.

Bids must be submitted on the standard form of bid proposal, and the successful bidder

will be required to execute the standard form of Contract Agreement, together with a

100% Performance Bond and Payment Bond, within ten (10) days after formal award of

the contract.

Bids may be held by the County for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the

opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the bid and investigating the qualifications of

Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.

The CITY OF HOUSTON reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and

all information in the best interest of the Owner.
